An access port can also be used to provide access to a container for diagnostic testing of its contents. AGM's 4" Access Ports feature a 1/4-turn cover that can be removed without tools. The TA495-3 has a 1.050 in. (26 mm) dia. hole in cover for mounting Series TA238 , TA240-R , TA330 , TA333-R , or TA340-R Two-Way Pressure Relief Valves. (Order valves separately) The TA495-4 has a 1.265 in (32 mm) dia. hole in cover for mounting a TA440 Breather Valve. (Order valves separately) The TA495-5 has a 2.015 in. (52 mm) dia. hole in cover for mounting a TA770-R Two-Way Pressure Relief Valve. (Order valves separately) Installation: Each port is provided with a gasket, washer and spanner nut for mounting the port to the container. AGM's ports are designed for mounting on a smooth, flat surface; they may not seal tightly if a surface is curved, domed or too rough. Tamper-Proof: Holes through cover and flange of Access Port are provided for safety wiring and an inspector's seal. Materials and Finishes: Aluminum alloys, conversion coated per MIL-DTL-5541. Mounting nut finishes are conversion coated. Note: Mounting Nut additionally coated with dry film lube. Stainless steel cover, passivated. Buna-N o-ring and gasket. Torque Value for Spanner Nut: 150 lb. in.
